Services of Health Care Providers in

Health Care Providers in Medical Colleges of the State apply for transfer from their
present place of posting from time to time on various grounds. Due to off-line
process of transfer application and its large quantity of numbers, the management of
such transfer processes consumes time and it also creates difficulties for the
applicants to trace their applications. To streamline such cumbersome process the
Medical Education & Research Department under visionary guidance of the Hon’ble
Chief Minister, Assam has developed the Medical College Transfer Management
System Portal (MTMS) to address the transfer issues of Medical Staff promptly.
All the Grade III and Grade IV employees of the medical colleges, including nursing, technical, and non-technical staff, can apply for unilateral transfers through this portal. Their applications will be verified and forwarded by the principal or superintendent of the respective medical college and hospital, and then sent to the Directorate of Medical Education for further processing. This streamlined process allows applicants to track their application status directly on the portal without needing to visit any offices.
Mutual transfer allows employees to exchange positions with colleagues from different medical colleges, facilitating relocation while maintaining their roles within the healthcare system. This portal streamlines the mutual transfer process, requiring approval from both parties involved and verification by the respective principals or superintendents before submission to the Directorate of Medical Education. Applicants can easily track the status of their transfer requests online, ensuring a transparent and efficient experience without the need for physical office visits.
To register for the MTMS portal, select your salutation, enter your first, middle and last names (if applicable), provide your mobile number and email address, create and confirm your password following the guidelines, then submit the form to complete the registration.
To complete the personal details section of the MTMS registration form, verify your email, select your gender, date of birth, etc. Optionally, upload a profile photo following the specified guidelines. Enter your mother's and father's/spouse's names, present and permanent address.
Select your job grade and staff category. Fill in the details of initial posting and current posting in government service, including the date of joining, the name of the health facility, and your designation. Optionally, upload your current joining letter as a PDF.
Select the type of transfer application (unilateral or mutual), fill the preference(s) and submit. In case of mutual transfer, ask your co-worker to register to the portal as well.
